Normandy Beach Boys - a subsidery of Normandy Safaris - offers you a D-Day service.
We will collect you from your cruise ship, in the port of Honfleur, just after breakfast and take you along the Normandy coast to the Normandy D-Day Landing Beaches.

Please be aware that, the D-Day Beaches are over 55 miles long.
And, they start, at 'Sword Beach', approximately 40 miles from Honfleur.
As you would be travelling in excess of 200 miles; what you see will depend on how long your cruise ship will remain in port.

We do not go to Utah Beach as it is a beach too far. And, likewise, St Mere Eglise is a town too far.

Your possible Itinerary includes:-

  • Pointe du Hoc where Col Rudder's Rangers scaled the cliffs and captured the gun emplacements.

  • Omaha Beach and Museum

  • The American War Cemetery above Omaha Beach.

  • Longues-sur-Mer Gun Battery where the guns and range-finder post are still in position.

  • Drive along Gold Beach to Arromanches and 'Port Winston' the Mulberry Harbour floated across the channel soon after June 6th.

  • Pegasus Bridge taken by glider borne commandos just after midnight on the morning of D-Day.

  • Honfleur

  • Evening return to your cruise ship.
